February Hunt of the Month - Ken Maraccini

Welcome to this first edition of Native Hunt's "Hunter of the Month".

Each month, this feature will highlight a select guest who has optimized the Native Hunt experience.

For February, this hunter was Kenneth Maraccini.

Ken had come to hunt wild boar and a trophy ram. As you can see from the pictures, he did alright.  But at Native Hunt, there's more to it than just the kill.  And here's where Ken's hunt stands out.

His guide for the weekend was Sam McGuire.  In chatting with Sam after the hunt, he mentioned that after a little time with Ken in the field, the hunt became more like hunting with a buddy than a professional relationship.  When the guide enjoys the hunt as much as the client, you know things went really well.<

Apparently, Ken got the same feeling.  Here's what he had to say in a note after the hunt was over:

I want to thank you for one of the most enjoyable hunts of my life. Sam, my guide, was knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. At the end of my hunt despite the difference in ages he became more of a hunting buddy than a guide.

Your cook, whose name I can't spell, was also friendly and not your every day camp cook by any means, and also treated me like a long lost pal.

All in all I look forward to hunting with you again.  Please let me know when you when you have an opening for a Pig & Fallow deer hunt.

The cook mentioned here is Evandro Brandao, a long-time friend of Native Hunt CEO, T. Michael Riddle, and his specialty is Brazilian cuisine. Even the food is a special event at Native Hunt.

The breathtaking views, exotic game opportunities, and delightful staff will keep us coming back for more!
